An amateur assessment of homemade yogurt

Well, it’s interesting. Certainly less than delicious but not entirely unfortunate, a bit lumpy at times, but nowhere near as bad as cottage cheese… a tad bit sour but really not so bad if you add a little bit of honey or jelly to it. And a little runny, but nothing to get worked up about. Mostly, it just tastes like plain, unsweetened yogurt.

On a scale of 0-10, where mushrooms come in at -2 and Friendly’s watamellon (yes that is how you spell this particular flavor) sherbet with rainbow sprinkles in a plain cone comes in at a high 10, a 6.5. Solid.

And as long as we’re on the topic of food, yesterday marked a milestone: it was my 10th day here, and I finished my 3rd kilo of carrots. Now to buy some more…
